Kitchen Renovation – Check!

One really great thing we got done this Easter was to finish the kitchen renovation, and to really finish the connection with the living room. I’m not going to say much about it – just show you how it all turned out. But first – do you remember the old kitchen?

and this?

Not to mention the somewhat demanding and quite extensive process:

Want to come visit - anyone?

Yep, that's the driveway out there...

Frida is less than thrilled about our kitchen's condition

Well, it has now turned into this:

I don’t think I need to tell you that we’re happy!  🙂  You can see all the pictures right here.

Jamen, Astrid!

i have to tell you that seeing these pictures fills my soul with hope. we just bought a (very) falling down farmhouse in the middle of jylland (moved over from a perfectly lovely renovated house on sjælland) and looking around at how much there is to do fills me with despair. however, your pictures helped greatly! tusind tak!

It’s beautiful! Were also renovating our house..pretty much the whole house haha. I LOVE your cabinets!!! who are they from? Thanks 🙂

Wow – OMG, so many people I didn’t manage to say thank you to! Well, THANK YOU all!

I was just reading through all of your comments, I’m so glad it inspired some of you, and yes, we did do it all by ourselves. Mads mostly, of course, but the design and all the decisions were very much a collaboration.

The kitchen is from IKEA, Stephanie – and not too expensive. 🙂
