Ronja started attending a gymnastics class two weeks ago. Yesterday she was there for the third time, and she just loves it! From the first time she was there, she has been asking me every day: “Is it today that you’re going to take me to gymnastics?” And I reply: “No Ronja, it takes an entire week of 7 days to get to another Wednesday – they only come one at a time”. It probably goes without saying, that my reply does not make me a popular Mom.
I think it’s an extra bonus for her, that it takes place in the school she will be attending in a few years, which makes her feel – kind of – a teeny bit – like a school girl. And Ronja loves feeling bigger than she is.
Yesterday I put a trump on, when I had bought her a leotard and a new pair of leggings – she practically screamed with joy when she saw it! (I know, I ought to sew those things, but I’m just not a “knits-person”!) At the same time, Ronja’s very good friend Emma started yesterday to attend the same class.
I’m telling you, that girl was walking on air, surrounded by pink clouds! 🙂

Oh yes, you made me very happy again today. When my daughter was 3 she started “ballet”, she carried her leg warmers and leotard with her just in case all week long!! Too cute, love the leotard and those pants are very sweet-nice job!!!

That is so sweet. I took Saga to gym class this summer, and she loved it. I am not a knits person either.

that last photo of Ronja is so beautiful! Don’t feel bad about buying the leotard! I bought Tabitha the simplest knit dress this week and though it was cheap I kept thinking “This seems like the sort of thing I ought to be able to make.”
